Fast fashion industry, rapidly changing fashion trends and throw-away principle. Our modern society is facing the major challenge of dealing with the ever-growing mountain of fabric waste. Every year, millions of tons of jeans are thrown away, whether used or new. Our aim is to counteract this destructive cycle and to offer a sustainable alternative by recycling waste from the fashion industry into our valuable raw material.
Jeans in particular stands for high durability and longevity, making it the ideal material for a floor covering that has to withstand many challenges every day. The product is enhanced with other recyclable materials: a wood-based core board (traditional or waterproof), which is fitted with our proven click system and a cork underlay.

The first step in the process is to shred and grind the denim waste. The resulting fine fibres are then mixed with natural binders (natural rubber and vegetable fats) and pressed into an even layer. Finally, other recyclable materials are added to complement the denim layer: a wood core board (traditional or waterproof), fitted with our tried and tested Click system, and cork impact sound isolation.
From original denim colours to stone or wood finishes, the surface can be printed using direct digital printing. This allows maximum flexibility and design freedom – even for individual projects.
